Watatakalu Yawalapiti

We welcomed Watatakalu Yawalapiti, coordinator of the Women’s Department of the Xingu Indigenous Land Association (Atix-Women), for an afternoon of work in which she spoke about Xingu culture and the relationship between indigenous peoples and the world of construction and architecture. We also went through some references together for our project for the Women’s House in the Xingu, which will be a multi-use space for meetings, workshops, seed storage and much more
