The gallery project “Ouvidor” was conceived as a presentation device furniture and fixtures. This is a great nave where reigns a controlled exposure darkness.
Indeed, the shop captures the dazzling natural light from the north through the roof funnel and drives it on the cement walls, so the exhibits are staged dramatically.
“Ouvidor” is an extension of a small gallery typical from modernist of 50’s. Its oblique shape echoes the oblique forms of the facade of this gallery.
Its structure is simple and removable: a mechanical metal parts coated fiber cement plates. The shop is conceived as an exhibition pavilion: ephemeral, temporary and “curatorial” practices highlighting furniture elements.
