D-Edge project is a machine to produce cultural, energy, economic and social activities, without losing sight of its original function: the distribution and promotion of culture in the form of concerts, sociability in the form of meetings, and economy in the form of fairs.

The land includes arable land, excellent accessibility, direct access to the banks of the Hérault, as well as a composting plant in its surroundings.

It seemed essential to us to work on the “genius loci” – the spirit of the place, raising the part of the ground to insert the project as an implant. This high “skin” functions as a lookout, a place for programmatic elements (drinking fountains, explanatory observation areas, etc.), a pedestrian and cyclist flow management system and support for sustainable development (production of biomass, etc.). The space formed by this lifting of land, circumscribed by large panels of polycarbonate, is naturally lit.
