Villa M named Building of the Year 2022

Triptyque is pleased to announce that we have won with Villa M the title Building of the Year 2022, by ArchDaily!

This is a recognition we share with key partners who joined minds and efforts to make it happen. Triptyque takes the Amazon to Paris with tropical building, manifesting it’s belief in creating a new pact between cities, nature and health.

About ArchDaily
Building of the Year – Awards

Created in 2008, Archdaily is the most important website dedicated to architecture with more than 13 million visitors each month. Each year, it invites its readers to rank thousands of candidate projects.

With more than 100,000 votes cast over the past three weeks and 4,500 projects in the running, Archdaily has unveiled its annual prize list of 15 projects named Building of the Year.

The 2022 list allows us to discover remarkable creations by their aesthetics, their creativity or their ecological impact. The 15 categories offer a wide range of what today’s architects are capable of achieving, providing a rich overview of the diversity of the profession over the past decades.

Emblematic practices that share the title Building of the Year with Triptyque’s Villa M include MVRDV’s Housing project in Bordeaux and Kengo Kuma’s Casa Batllo installation, just to name a few.
