The construction of the future complex Cidade Matarazzo gained prominence because of a specific stage – the church of Santa Luzia that “floats” to 31 meters of height. With 1,200 tons, the chapel is suspended to take advantage of other underground uses. The church was build in 1922 by the Italian architect Giovanni Battista“Inside the Cidade Matarazzo complex!”

Annually, the Pivô Art Center holds a Wall Auction as its main fundraising event. The works donated by important artists of different generations are displayed in the institution and are presented first hand to the participants of the annual Pivô Dinner. Triptyque received the 30 members of the Van Alen International Council in São Paulo. The Council is led by Kai-UweBergmann, BjarkeIngels Group (BIG) and Kim Herforth Nielsen, 3XN.
